To obtain the necessary amount of meeting and exhibit space at the Paris/Bally’s Las Vegas, COSM must commit to using a minimum number of guest rooms. If that commitment is not met, COSM will incur significant financial penalties and it will cause a major impact on the future programs that COSM is able to offer. By booking your room at the Paris or Bally’s Las Vegas you will help COSM meet their hotel obligation. We thank you in advance for your assistance. In order to provide options for all budgets, COSM has booked three separate room categories at the Paris Rooms—The majority of the rooms in the COSM block are available at the Paris Las Vegas. These rooms are appointed with custom European Furniture, rich fabrics and warm decorations. The marble bathroom features both a bathtub and a stand alone shower. The Paris rooms are the most upscale of the three room categories. Bally’s North Tower Rooms—In Bally’s deluxe rooms you’ll enjoy art deco style accommodations with plush upholstery, light woods, and upgraded marble bathrooms. Bally’s South Tower Rooms—At more than 450 sq. ft., these rooms offer the perfect solution for cost-conscious hospitals and universities hoping to send several Residents to COSM. Note: If you have already booked your reservation at the higher rates, your rate has been reduced at the hotel to reflect the new lower rates listed in the table below.
Paris/Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel Reservation Cut-off: Friday, March 26, 2010 Make your hotel reservation at the Paris Las Vegas online. Make your hotel reservation at Bally’s Las Vegas online. To make a reservation via telephone call 800-358-8777. Be sure to specify that you are a COSM attendee in order to receive the negotiated rate. Remember to indicate the room type you prefer (ie, Paris, Bally’s North Tower or Bally’s South Tower). For the quickest results we strongly encourage reserving your guestroom online. Credit cards will be required to hold reservations. Reservations must be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival. If a reservation is not cancelled 72 hours prior to the arrival date, one night’s room and tax will be billed to the individual credit card. In some instances, the room block sells out before the stated cutoff date, therefore we encourage you to make a reservation early. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis as received by the hotel. Booking at the Paris or Bally’s Las Vegas will help COSM avoid costly attrition penalties. Transportation Discounts AIRFARE SAVINGS! Special meeting discounts have been arranged on United Airlines for COSM. These special discounts are available by calling the airline directly (independently or through a travel agent). Be sure to indicate the name of the meeting to which you will be traveling and refer to the COSM file number (501CR) to obtain special fares. Area/zone fares based on geographic location are available with no Saturday night stay required. Minimum stay two nights; seven-day advance purchase required. Car Rental Savings Avis is designated as the official car rental company for the 2010 COSM. Special meeting rates and discounts are available on a wide selection of GM and other fine cars. To receive these special rates, be sure to mention your Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number (B169699) when you call. You can also book your reservation on the Avis Web site at www.avis.com.
